Brookfield School provides a setting where young people prosper in thought and imagination, in competence and character, as individuals, and as members of a school community.  Brookfield School is committed to the overall development of each child. To this end we provide strong academic instruction in the basic skills as well as a wide variety of cultural and aesthetic experiences within a success oriented program. Because there are great differences among children of the same age, factors other than chronological age are considered in planning a program to meet the intellectual, social, emotional and physical need of individuals in the classroom.

The curriculum at Brookfield is designed to insure that children are encouraged to develop to the fullest of their potential. Their needs are met through an exceptionally broad and diversified sequence of both planned and informal experiences. The desired outcome of the program is development of the personal and intellectual qualities which will facilitate entry into secondary and post-secondary study. This will encourage broad, rich, and successful relationships and subsequently influence their chosen careers and family life.

Brookfield School's curriculum is geared to giving each student the best educational experience at their own level. High achieving students can "Bridge" in subjects to the next grade up (usually Reading or Math). Additional programs for high achieving students include "Junior Great Books" and Aleks Math (on-line).
