Mr. Meitz, 2nd Grade.

Mr. Meitz true passion is working with kids on a daily basis, whether it's teaching in the classroom, teaching a magic lesson at a client's house, or helping one of his students learn the skills of snowboarding at the local terrain park. Mr. Meitz graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2007 on the Dean's list, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education and a minor in Elementary Education.

That fall he and his wife Megan moved to Utah so Megan could complete her doctorate of audiology at the U of Utah and he taught 5th grade at a Title One school. During this time he completed a life long dream of becoming an author and completed the first picture book in the series, "The Amazing Alexander".

In 2009, they moved to Southern California where Megan completed her studies and he taught at a private school in La Jolla. The kids in that school and their positive attitude made a tremendous impact on Justin's and he realized teaching would always be an integral part of his life. Finally in the summer of 2010, the Meitz's moved back to Reno where Megan is an Audiologist in Carson City and Mr. Meitz is currently writing the 3rd book in the "Alexander" series and is pursuing his PHD at UNR.

He has one major rule in his classroom and its the most important rule of all "Rule 1 - Have FUN!".
