Hello, I am John Trevino and I am thrilled to be teaching third grade at Brookfield this year! This is my sixth year at Brookfield, and I am excited every day for the opportunity to teach at such a great school. I am a Reno native and I received my BS in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada. I am also pursuing my master’s degree in Teaching Leadership. Teaching is my passion and I try to instill in my students a life-long love for learning. Outside of teaching I enjoy outdoor activities, watching sports, and going to concerts and music festivals. Let’s make this a great year!

Hello! My name is Annette Friedlander, and I am starting my ninth year at Brookfield. This year I am excited to be returning to third grade and doing some team teaching with Mr. Trevino. My husband and I moved here in 2002 from California, and we truly enjoy this beautiful state with our children and grandchildren. My teaching experience covers grades K-6th. I have been teaching for more than 25 years.

I am very excited to be on the Brookfield team, and I look forward to working with all the students, parents, and staff.
