Hello! My name is Morgan Hinkel and I teach Pre-First at Brookfield.  I was born and raised in Reno. I am a high school graduate of Bishop Manogue.  I went to Arizona State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.  I enjoy skiing and spending time with my family in my free time.   This is my second year teaching at Brookfield and I am looking forward to an exciting new year filled with lots of learning and fun.  Teaching is my passion and children light up my life. I anticipate a wonderful year.

Hello! My name is Kate McCarthy, and this will be my first year teaching at Brookfield. I am new to Reno, having moved here from the Bay Area this summer. For the past two years, I have loved teaching first grade at a charter school in San Jose. I am originally from Boston, MA and a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, but have come to love the West Coast and all that it has to offer! I am looking forward to joining the Brookfield community and getting to know my students and their families. We are going to have a wonderful, exciting year of learning!
