OUR STAFF

Every employee of BROOKFIELD TLC is thoroughly screened.  Our teachers have on-going training, and considerable experience in early childhood education.  We have regular evaluations and planning sessions.  Our staff attends and is actively encouraged to seek further training in early childhood education.

Your child benefits most from enthusiastic, well-trained, happy teachers.

We make every effort to keep a healthy working environment.

Children are in small groups for maximum possible individual attention.

OUR PARENTS

q       We have an open-door policy.  This means you are more than welcome to come visiting ANYTIME.  All visitors need to get a badge at the office for the visit.

q       Do feel free to stay with your child for as long as you wish during the first few days “Settling-in time”.

q       Perhaps you would like to have lunch here with your child if you work nearby.

q       Nothing pleases a child more than having his parent volunteer.  There is a volunteer form to complete.

q       We welcome any suggestions you have so we can make it even better

OUR GOALS

When your child enters the Brookfield’s Toddler Learning Center (TLC), he comes to build habits and share experiences that will help him succeed later in school.  Our goal is to provide a solid base essential for later learning, a strong sense of self-esteem, an excitement and curiosity about learning and an enthusiasm for schooling.  These traits will be very beneficial when enrolling in Brookfield School; our private academic oriented school grades K-8th

OUR CURRICULUM GOALS

We encourage self-help skills.  Teachers prepare the environment for your child to learn through active exploration.  The teachers are always there to help, guide, and encourage.  We carefully track progress in self-concept, self-initiative, attitude, verbal response, acceptance of others, interaction and participation.  Brookfield’s TLC offers children the opportunity to learn and develop in a happy, secure, creative and stimulating environment.  It is important to us that your child receives the very best education, care and attention possible.  Your child will:
