Brookfield is known for its strong academics, high SAT scores, and instilling lifelong study habits. We emphasize Reading (Literature), Mathematics (up to Pre-Algebra and Algebra), and Writing on a daily basis. French, Latin, Science, Computer, Grammar, Spelling, Vocabulary, Geography, Social Studies, Study Skills, Art, Music, and Physical Education complete each week's studies. Homework is given nightly with the expectation of completion. Scholarship is valued and is recognized in Honor Rolls and a Director's List.

Our enhanced PE program for 7th & 8th includes Lakeridge Tennis Club with all activities Lakeridge offers as a full member. Tennis, swimming, weights, basketball and much more are a few PE activities our program offers. Sports that are available at Lakeridge include Junior Tennis & Swim Team, etc.

We develop leadership that comes from small classes with serious responsibilities and commitments. Our students excel in personal and academic growth under close supervision and guidance. Our Leadership Council, school yearbook, community service, are a few avenues of leadership development.

Some electives may include; Community Service, Guitar, Art History, Archeology, Drama, Choral, Multimedia, and Photography. Electives are selected by interest of students and available expertise.

Students enjoy full internet services with a high speed DSL. Our Lab and Internet provides interactive learning systems where students log-on to compete with other students around the country. Our Laptop windows based Lab boasts of a full curriculum including; keyboarding, spreadsheets, presentations, and internet research. A paramount goal is integration into the classroom. Lap top computers are also available to students to take home. Additional Gifted and Talented programs are offered on the computers.

Students are acquainted with both the personal and social benefits of volunteering their time to community organizations. We expect students to contribute time and effort to those organizations in which they have an interest. We invite parents to assist with school activities. . . Hot Lunch, Ski Program, Library, Spectra Art, Student Clubs and PTA.

After school activities and enrichment programs may include; Computer, Soccer, Basketball, Chess, Science, Spanish and Drama. Teacher supervised Study Hall is held after school for homework completion, if needed. We also participate in a ski/snow board program on Fridays in mid-winter. Upper grade socials are planned and enjoyed by students.
